THE GIANT CONVERSATION
There was a giant conversation between the titans of life concerning wandering inhabitants of planet earth. And Mr. Today called an invisible Mr. Tomorrow and they had a cable conversation about people they cherish to see them flourish.
Mr. Today: Good morning Mr. Tomorrow, I greet you before your arrival
Mr. Tomorrow: Good morning my good friend.
Mr. Today: thank you, I am calling for us to have a discussion about the people that are so desperate about their lives. Now they are happy I (Mr. Today) am alive. Many of them anticipate your coming Mr. Tomorrow, it will not be long, you will be here but many people will not even realise your presence because their minds are so much focused always about you but not about me who is with them. They know and they have also forgotten that Mr. Yesterday is dead and gone yet they keep thinking about him and forgetting about myself and you. And even if you come, they are ignorant about you coming with good things. And so I am contacting you for us to find a way of solving this and let our desperate people free their minds from issues of the past and attain success.
Mr. Tomorrow: Hmmm, I am glad you have taken this as an issue of discussion. My good friend, I know it is very true and most often I become sad when I see people who were expecting me to come but when I come, they are ignorant about me, they do not even know I am around and they are still thinking about me. But it is unfortunate that I cannot tell them that I am the one they were expecting yesterday which yesterday is dead and gone yet they are still thinking about me again when I am you here presently. Now the burden I will not say is on you but it is on all of us to call Mr. Yesterday and let him know that he should always remind the people that he is dead and gone. And even if they are thinking about Him, they should take him as a reference point to correct past mistakes but not get soaked in the negatives and the failures that happened when he was alive. But that should not engross them to forget about the fact that I and yourself are still flourishing.
Mr. Today: hmmm I understand Mr. Tomorrow nonetheless the fact of the matter is that, ignorance is killing many people unaware as you have mentioned. Let’s communicate with Mr. Yesterday then.
Mr. Today: Hello Mr. Yesterday, how is the land of the silence?
Mr. Yesterday: Hi my good friend Mr. Today, you know as usual there is no fruitful business ongoing here, we are only dwelling on the tunes of our memories as the living still play for us. We are also attending to prisoners here (prisoners of yesterday). For this I believe you have vacant rooms, (yourself and Mr. Tomorrow), no inmates to attend to.
Mr. Today: hey hey, enough of the rubbish, I did not call in for you to tease me of my lack of friends, remember also they are my “bestees”. I want to tell you that free the imprisoned minds and allow them see the green light to success not the light that has perished and can no longer glow. On this note, I say that you have to tell them to stop thinking about you. You have nothing meaningful for them than to dry up their brain fluids while thinking about you.
Mr. Yesterday: Listen carefully Mr. Man, I know you need supporters and as a result you are seeking ways to pull the people out of my influence. I have good memories for them to reminisce if you do not know. The success they had was me (Yesterday), you yourself you got married “Yesterday” and so what are you talking about? Before I scatter you, hang the call.
Mr. Today: that is what you are known for, “scatter-man”, “mind-stealer” “ladies-man”, making the ladies think about you a lot. “Yesterday I had fun, the date was mega and things”, that is what they say. But do not forget that if I am not there, you name will not even be mentioned.
Mr. Today and Mr. Tomorrow: “you do not have to keep them engrossed, how will they advance thinking of only you (Mr. Yesterday)? Oya make you release their minds”.
Mr. Yesterday: well, you have spoken like you took Palm wine, go and take akrante3 and calm your nerves down for us to discuss this matter of concern. Get their minds changed. I am not the problem here; they come to me all by themselves. {The call dropped}
Mr. Today: What I would suggest is that, Mr. Tomorrow, if the people are thinking and are so desperate and are anticipating for your coming, always prick their hearts and tell them I am right here with them; the one they were expecting yesterday and the other one coming the next day is my sibling and if they are not careful they will miss him and think that he is yet coming and by the time they realise, all will become YESTERDAY.
